Call Out for Photographers

Calling all photographers! Are you passionate about capturing moments of happiness in a beautiful setting? Do you want to showcase your talent at one of the most picturesque events of the year? As we prepare to launch the Harrison Tulip Festival, we are offering an opportunity for SIX photographers to join us for the 2024 season. If you are selected, not only will you have the chance to book photo sessions with festival visitors, but we will also feature you on our website, including a link to your website/photo gallery – offering fantastic exposure to help you showcase your work and connect with potential clients. Don’t miss out: the deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 20!

Available Spots: 6

Cost: $300 plus GST 

Successful applicants will receive the following:

  1. One Season’s Pass to the 2024 Harrison Tulip Festival for the photographer. Includes sunrise openings (your clients will need to purchase regular entrance tickets to enter the fields).
  2. Link on our Tulip Festival Website Ticket Page to your own website (From March 2024 – May 31, 2024)
  3. At least 1 shout out on our social channels before and/or during the festival; and
  4. Inclusion in one email newsletter .

For an additional $100 receive a dual season’s pass to both 2024 Tulip and Sunflower festivals and inclusion on our Sunflower Festival Website Ticket Page and at least 1 shout out during the 2024 Sunflower Festival. 

We are looking for photographers that have significant availability during the 3-5 weeks we will be open, likely starting in early/mid April through to early May (weather dependent).  We suggest that you offer sessions in either our Sunrise openings Fri, Sat, and Sun or evenings after 4pm for best lighting. We will be open daily Monday to Friday 10am-6:30pm (off the fields by 7:30pm) and Saturday-Sunday 6am-6:30pm (off the fields by 7:30pm). Note: Sunrise openings 6am-8am Sat-Sun are at a different rate for our guests.

Your clients will need to purchase entrance tickets in addition to your own photography fees.

We will get back to you by Monday March 25th with our decisions. Successful applicants will be notified and an invoice will be sent out.
